My Dachshund mix just had his four baby canine teeth removed, how much wet food is okay for his size?

My dog Maverick is a mix with possibly Chihuahua or/and Papillon (the shelter I adopted him from weren't sure on the exact mixtures of the breed), he's just under 6 pounds at approx. 7 months old. Yesterday he was put under to remove four of his baby teeth that were not going to fall out on his own and the vet told me to feed him soft food for a couple days but I don't usually feed him soft food therefore don't know how much to give him a day and the vet's closed now! The kind I bought is Cesar for small breeds and it doesn't say on the package how much is appropriate. I don't care if you think this is a bad brand of wet dog food, it's only for a couple of days so I am not going out to buy whatever soft dog food you recommend.
