Why is God against gay people if he is full of love?

God's love is perfect. He loves all of His children equally and wants them to be happy. He gives us commandments because of His love for us. There is a difference between having gay thoughts/tendencies and acting upon them...just the same as the case with any temptation or weakness that we deal with during our time on earth.
