Why did we invade Iraq when.........?

The Bushies shies wanted to get rid of Saddam, and it seemed like a good thing to do at the time. Remember it was right after GB snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in Afghanistan, and the Bushies where drinking their own cool aid. Iraq is going to fall apart, and we are going to louse in Afghanistan, when you got the Russians wanting to help make policy in Afghanistan, and an idealistic President you got problems. (Remember where you heard it first.)
