UNBEARABLE PAIN IN BIG TOE!!!!!?

So here how it started i was pressure washing a floor in a location i am unable to say.My feet were wet from water getting in my boot. We had completed the task at hand and then about an hour after completing it my big toe began to ache a little and then more and more. When i got home i immediately examined my toe to see if there were bite marks or anything of the sort and found there was no punctures to the skin. Now i have been laying here in bed for the past 8hrs trying to sleep and not allow my toe to touch anything for it causes even more pain. Please does anyone have a clue what this might be. I am in sooooo much pain i'm on the brink of tears.
