How does Hugh Hefner manage to replace his young girlfriends (every several years) without hurting them?

I ume most of the girls are there for what they can get out of the relationship. If he is done with them, I would bet that they are ready to be done too. Who wants an old man and have to share him with other women. They cannot have that many feelings to start with!!
