If you believe in free will, can you answer this?

in the bible, at the last supper Jesus stated that one of his disciples would betray and it would be Judas. Jesus says that his sacrifice is to show Gods love and that he was sent down to do it. If Jesus knew about Judas and his betrayal did Judas really have free will? could he have really chosen not to betray Jesus if he really wanted to? if he wasnt in control of his own destiny then should he really be punished for what he did?
