How can i fix my skin.. it is really annoying me?

I got a roll on liquid from the doctor for my acne on my face. It contains ethanol and is very strong. i accidently got it in my eye once and had to go into hospital but it turned out to be ok. a couple of nights ago i was putting in on my chin where lots of spots seem to have appeared and it spreads easily so it went onto my bottom lip. my lip is all dry and so is the skin below it and theres a burning sensation on it which is really annoying. does anyone know of something i could put on it to calm it down?
