Can Jehovah's Witnesses call themselves Christians and not be Christendom?

Whatever they call themselves they are a cult and you would be wise to stay away from them. I know of one person in particular who became vexed by demon spirit apparitions after joining this group. She also became a and I am not sure where she is today but that broke up her family.
